Shipping and Delivery Policy
This policy explains what shipping costs, where we send parcels, how long each step takes and what happens when something goes wrong along the way. It applies to every order placed on this website.
1. Shipping Costs
Shipping is free on every order, anywhere in the United Kingdom.
- There is no minimum order value to reach first.
- There is no surcharge for the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland or any other UK postcode.
- There is no handling fee, packaging fee or fuel levy added at the checkout.
The price shown at the checkout is the full amount you pay, in pounds sterling (GBP).
2. Where We Ship
We ship within the United Kingdom only, to all four nations: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
We do not ship internationally. The checkout will not accept a delivery address outside the United Kingdom, so an overseas order cannot be placed by mistake.
We deliver to residential and business addresses. We are not able to deliver to PO Boxes or parcel lockers where the carrier requires a signature, so please use a street address if you want the smoothest delivery.
3. Order Processing Time
Processing is the time between your order arriving with us and the parcel leaving us. It takes 1 to 2 business days, Monday to Friday.
Business days do not include Saturdays, Sundays or bank holidays.
4. Order Cut-off Time
Our daily cut-off is 2pm GMT/BST (UK time).
- Order before 2pm on a business day and your 1 to 2 day processing window starts that same day.
- Order after 2pm, or at any time on a weekend or bank holiday, and it starts on the next business day.
The cut-off is set in UK time, which is GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) from late October to late March and BST (British Summer Time) from late March to late October. The whole of the United Kingdom uses the same time zone, so there is nothing to convert wherever you order from.
5. Dispatch and Tracking
You receive two emails from us for every order:
- An order confirmation, sent within minutes of your order going through. It confirms what you bought and what you paid.
- A dispatch confirmation with tracking, sent when the parcel physically leaves us.
If the confirmation has not arrived within a few minutes, check your spam or promotions folder before ordering again. If the dispatch email has not arrived within 2 business days of ordering, write to us and we will find out where it sits.
Tracking can take up to 24 hours to show its first movement after dispatch. That gap is normal and is not a sign that anything is wrong.
6. Delivery Time in Transit
Once the parcel is with the carrier, transit takes 4 to 6 business days, Monday to Saturday.
Saturday counts as a delivery day for the carrier but not as a processing day for us, which is why the two windows count differently.
7. Total Delivery Timeframe
Processing and transit together come to 5 to 8 business days from the day you order to the day the parcel arrives.
| Step | How long | Days counted |
|---|---|---|
| Processing and dispatch | 1 to 2 business days | Monday to Friday |
| In transit with the carrier | 4 to 6 business days | Monday to Saturday |
| Total | 5 to 8 business days | from the day you order |
Addresses in England and Wales usually sit at the shorter end of that range, with Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Highlands and Islands towards the longer end. We give you the full range rather than a best case, because a best case that misses is worse than an honest range that holds.
8. Delays
The processing window is ours and we hold ourselves to it. The transit window belongs to the carrier, and the following can stretch it beyond 6 business days:
- Bank holidays, including the days that differ between England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
- Severe weather, flooding and road closures.
- Peak periods across the carrier network, particularly in the run-up to Christmas.
- Deliveries to remote postcodes where the final leg runs on a fixed weekly schedule.
If your parcel is beyond the 8 business day mark and the tracking has not updated, write to us with your order number and we will chase it from our end rather than leave you to chase it from yours.
9. Lost Parcels
A parcel is treated as lost when the tracking has not moved for a sustained period and the carrier cannot locate it. If that happens, contact us and we will open an enquiry with the carrier. Carrier enquiries take a few business days to resolve.
If the parcel is confirmed lost, we will send a replacement where the piece is still available, or refund you in full where it is not. You are not left out of pocket for a parcel that never reached you.
10. Damaged Parcels
If your parcel arrives damaged, or the piece inside is damaged in transit, email us within a reasonable time of delivery and include:
- Your order number.
- A photo of the outer packaging, including any visible damage.
- A photo of the piece itself showing the damage.
We will arrange a replacement or a refund and we cover the return postage. You do not pay to send back something that arrived damaged.
11. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
The delivery address you enter at the checkout is the address we print. Please check the house number or name, the street and the postcode before you confirm the order.
If a parcel is delayed or lost because the address given was incomplete or incorrect, we will do what we can to help, but we cannot take responsibility for a delivery to an address we were given correctly and printed correctly.
12. Changing a Delivery Address
If your order has not been dispatched yet, email us straight away with your order number and the corrected address and we will change it before the parcel leaves.
Once the parcel is with the carrier we cannot change the address. In that case, wait for the delivery attempt and follow the carrier's redirection process, or let it return to us and we will arrange re-delivery.
13. Parcels Returned to Us
A parcel comes back to us when nobody could take delivery, when it went unclaimed at a collection point, or when the address could not be found. If that happens we will contact you to arrange another delivery attempt at no extra cost, or refund you if you would rather not go again.
