Terms of Service
This website is operated under the brand Miranda Apparel. Throughout this site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Miranda Apparel. These Terms of Service set out the conditions on which we sell products to you through this online shop, and they apply to every visitor and every order you place with us.
By browsing this site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by the policies they refer to, including our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully before ordering. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the site or place an order.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.
1. About Us
Miranda Apparel is the trading name under which this shop operates. We are an online fashion retailer selling to consumers in the United Kingdom. The details below are our official business contact details for this shop.

We sell exclusively to consumers in the United Kingdom, and all prices on the site are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). We do not operate customer accounts, a newsletter, or any subscription or loyalty programme - every order is placed as a guest order at the checkout.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using this site and placing an order, you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, and are legally capable of entering into a binding contract;
- you are purchasing as a consumer for your own personal use, and not for resale or as part of a business;
- the information you provide at checkout is true, accurate and complete, and you will keep us informed of any change (in particular your delivery address and email address) while an order is open;
- you will not use this site for any unlawful purpose, to infringe the rights of others, or to transmit viruses, malicious code or other harmful material.
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate access or decline an order where we have a lawful reason to do so, for example where we suspect fraud or where an order breaches these terms.
3. Placing an Order and Contract Formation
To place an order, add items to your cart, proceed to the checkout and enter your delivery and payment details. You will have the opportunity to review and correct your order before you submit it.
When you submit an order, you are making an offer to buy the items. No contract exists at that point, and an automatic acknowledgement of receipt is not an acceptance of your order. A contract between you and Miranda Apparel is only formed when we send you an email confirming that your order has been accepted (the "Order Confirmation"). If we are unable to accept your order - for example because an item is out of stock, because of a pricing error, or because we suspect fraud - we will tell you by email and, if you have already paid, refund you in full as soon as reasonably possible.
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, we will provide you with a confirmation of the contract on a durable medium (the Order Confirmation email), which summarises what you have ordered, what you have paid and your cancellation rights. Please keep this email; you will need it if you contact us about your order.
Orders can only be placed for delivery within the United Kingdom. We are not responsible for complying with the laws of any country outside the UK, and we do not ship to addresses outside the United Kingdom.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes as shown at checkout. Delivery within the United Kingdom is free of charge; no hidden fees will be added at the checkout beyond the price of the items you order. Full details of our delivery arrangements are set out in our Shipping Policy.
Prices are subject to change at any time, but changes do not affect orders that have already been accepted. The price that applies to your order is the price displayed at the time you place it.
Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments. At the checkout we accept:
- Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express cards;
- digital wallets - Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay - where available on your device and browser.
We do not offer payment by instalments and do not offer any buy-now-pay-later arrangements. The full amount for your order is charged when your order is accepted. Your card details are transmitted directly to our payment service provider over an encrypted connection; we never see or store your full card number. How your payment data is handled is explained in our Privacy Policy and our Payment Policy.
If a pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable, the provisions in section 7 below apply.
5. Shipping and Delivery
We offer free delivery on all orders within the United Kingdom. Current delivery timeframes are set out in our Shipping Policy.
Delivery dates and times given on the site or in our emails are estimates. If we have not agreed a specific delivery date, we will deliver your order without undue delay and in any event no later than 30 days after the day on which the contract was formed. If we cannot deliver within that period, you may give us an additional period for delivery or cancel the order immediately, and you will receive a full refund of everything you have paid for the order.
Risk in the products passes to you when they are delivered to you, or to a person you have nominated to receive them. Ownership of the products passes to you once we have received payment in full.
Please check your parcel when it arrives. If an item arrives damaged in transit, contact us at support@miranda-apparel.com as soon as possible with your order number and, where practical, a photograph of the damage, so that we can help you quickly.
6. Cancellation and Returns
Your statutory right to cancel. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a legal right to cancel your order without giving any reason within 14 days. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or someone you nominate (other than the carrier), receive the goods.
To cancel, simply send us a clear statement of your decision before the deadline - an email to support@miranda-apparel.com with your order number is sufficient. You must then send the goods back to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day you told us about your cancellation.
If you cancel, we will refund everything you paid for the goods, plus the cost of standard delivery (the cheapest delivery option we offer), without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day we receive the goods back, or - if earlier - the day you supply evidence that you have sent them back. We make the refund using the same means of payment you used for the order, unless you expressly agree otherwise, and you will not be charged for the refund itself. We may make a deduction from the price for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Please note that some products are excluded from the statutory right to cancel where the law allows it, for example goods that are unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return for hygiene reasons, or goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. Where an item falls within one of these exceptions, we will make this clear on the product page before you order.
Our 30-day returns. In addition to your statutory rights, we offer an extended 30-day return period on a goodwill basis. Full details, including the condition items must be in, the returns address and who bears the cost of return shipping, are set out in our Refund Policy.
Faulty or misdescribed goods. Nothing in this section affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If goods you receive are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, as the law provides. Contact us at support@miranda-apparel.com and we will put it right.
7. Product Availability and Accuracy
Our stock is limited, and we may discontinue any product at any time. While we do our best to keep the site up to date, we cannot guarantee that every item shown is available at the time you order. If an item you have ordered turns out to be unavailable after your order has been accepted, we will contact you by email, and you may either wait for the item to be restocked (where possible) or cancel for a full and prompt refund.
We have made every effort to display the colours and images of our products as accurately as possible. Because screens and devices differ, we cannot guarantee that your screen's display of any colour is accurate. Product descriptions are intended to be as accurate as possible, but they may occasionally contain errors or omissions.
We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any product offered and to limit or cancel orders where we have reason to believe they are placed for resale rather than personal use.
Where a price is obviously incorrect because of a technical fault or typing error, we will contact you before dispatch. You may then either confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund. We will never simply charge you the higher amount.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this site - including product images, photography, text, graphics, logos and the overall design of the shop - is owned by, or licensed to, Miranda Apparel and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. The name Miranda Apparel and our logos are our trade marks and may not be used without our consent.
You may view, download for caching purposes and print pages from this site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, resell, scrape or otherwise exploit any content on this site for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under UK law, including:
- liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- any liability in respect of faulty or misdescribed goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015;
- any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Every product we sell to you comes with the guarantees set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015: goods must be of satisfactory quality, as described and fit for their purpose. These legal rights are not affected by anything in these terms, and they apply in addition to our Refund Policy. Where our policy gives you more than the law requires, that additional benefit does not replace your legal rights.
Subject to the above, and only to the extent permitted by law: our total liability to you in respect of any order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order; we are only responsible for loss or damage that is a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach of these terms; and we accept no liability for any business losses, loss of profits, loss of data or indirect or consequential losses, as this site and these products are supplied for consumer and personal use only.
We do not guarantee that your use of the site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. The site is provided "as is" and "as available".
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Miranda Apparel harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal costs, made by a third party because of your breach of these Terms of Service, your unlawful use of this site, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party. This indemnity does not apply to anything for which we are responsible under law.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service, and any contract between you and us, are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, which means you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
Nothing in this section deprives you of any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of the part of the United Kingdom in which you are resident.
12. Changes to These Terms
You can review the most current version of these Terms of Service at any time on this page. We may update these terms from time to time as the shop or the law changes; the version that applies to your order is the version published at the time you placed it. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms for future orders.
13. Contact
